RICHMOND, VA - Care Advantage, Inc., headquartered in Chesterfield County Virginia, is proud to congratulate Tim Hanold, CEO of Care Advantage on his recent appointment by Governor Glenn Youngkin to the Board of Medical Assistance Services. Care Advantage is the largest, privately owned home care provider in the Mid-Atlantic and can service over 90% of the Commonwealth of Virginia in terms of population and geography.
The purpose of the Board of Medical Assistance Services is to ensure that the categorically and medically needy citizens of the Commonwealth have financial access to a cost effective, comprehensive health care delivery system. Board appointments last for four-year terms and consistently review legislative, budget and regulatory updates for the Department of Medical Assistance. The Board makes recommendations to the Governor for improvements and monitors the Medicaid Expansion passed by previous administrations. Currently, the Department of Medical Assistance services nearly 2 million Virginians enrolled in Medicaid, with numbers trending upwards.

Mr. Hanold’s appointment was announced on Friday, June 10t by the Office of the Governor.
