In 1988, Richmond, Virginia, Debbie Johnston, RN, identified through her role as a hospital nurse that patients were frequently being discharged from the hospital quickly and often while still in recovery.
Ms. Johnston appreciated that due to this worrying trend there would be a need for home care services to help patients through this transitional phase after discharge to reduce re-hospitalization. Care Advantage was born out of a need to provide care and support to those who would be otherwise helpless.
Three decades later, our focus and motivation remain the same. Our passion for delivering care continues to grow with every client and patient we engage.
